IDA Members will offer value for money as dictated by prevailing market conditions
IDA Members will conduct their dealings in a transparent manner and with absolute integrity
Members guarantee that all vehicles sold by them are unencumbered
Members will not assist or get involved in financing/invoicing deals to financial institutions on behalf of non approved dealers/operators
Members will not sell Code 3 vehicles to the public, other than on a “voetstoots”/as is basis, and the client should be fully informed of the status of the vehicle
Members will not appoint sales staff or managers who might have been dismissed previously for misconduct in the motor trade
Members will not sell vehicles knowing that the kilometer reading on the said vehicle is suspect
Clients will have the right to call upon the IDA Regional Chairpersons to mediate between a member and the said client in cases where differences between management of the member and the client cannot be agreed upon
